If you have cooling problems you can get a big truck radiator that mounts in the same location, that is what I am installing because I am adding PS and A/C to mine this build. It is thicker and a little taller and wider. I ran a separate trans cooler for my TH350 for 15 years with no problems. Some say in colder climates you need to run it thru the radiator type to get it to proper temp to work but I can tell you my trans worked fine at sub zero F. temps. Install at "T" in the line and monitor the temp and adjust location, add a fan, etc. that's my plan. This build I moved it up under the passenger step next to the frame and left room for a fan if I need to add one.
