Hi Zach,

Sounds like someone may have swapped a newer cluster into that 75 sometime in the past. I don't think the medium duty trucks changed over to electric oil gauges sooner than pick-up trucks but they might have.

In any case, 80psi mechanical oil gauges do exist (I put one in dad's 77 GMC). I thought it came from a 75 medium duty cluster, but it might have been a 73 or 74.
