I dunno about the fire rating. Not to discount your concerns about such things, but if it got to the point of the insulation either stopping or feeding a fire in the cab of my truck, I'd say I have much larger problems at that point. It's stuck to steel on one side, and has foam padding w/carpet stuck to the other side. So there's lot's more to consider, I'd say.
