Seat belts are sewed with an industrial sewing machine (such as found in an upholstery shop) Make sure they use nylon thread and not polyester thread. Some shops will do it, some wont. If you look at how they're sewed, it's very minimal. And you can wash them in a washing machine and drip dry.
