The 250 isn't a bad motor. I had one in a 70 3/4 ton (it's a long story). If you're not planning any hauling or heavy-duty off-roading, it should suit you fine.

Oh, and welcome to the wonderful world of Blazers. It took me a lot of years and a lot of old Chevys to get here, too.
