Sounds like someone is a little offended by some of the comments, event though the truck shown in not yours. It does share some similarity to yours however. If you're going radical you should expect positive and negative comments.

As for your comment, for restorations the opposite is true. Anyone can easilly have a custom resto (assuming $$ is no object) as the the aftermarket is geared towards that market. The degree and skill of the customization is debatable however.

Unless you're lucky enough to locate an unmolested original, it's very difficult to pull off a correct stock restoration as you need to locate NOS or excellent used items that are not reproduced. Keep in mind that the majority of these trucks have lost some if not many of their stcok components.

However, if you meant anyone can build a stock truck, very true. All the parts fit and have been engineered to work together. Most people don't have the fabrication skills to build and create from scratch. Your truck show that you obviously have a special talent.
