I would say no, if you're just looking to change the grille alone. The grille opening is shaped different, rounded on the 77, rectangular on the 85. What you can do is change the whole nose, if you have it. Radiator support, grille, hood and fenders will interchange pretty easy, and no one would ever know it's not an 85. But an older looking round headlight truck is probably a little cooler, imo.
