So I decoded the vin on the truck and found I actually have a Jimmy not a Blazer.
Things have been looking better at work so I have started working on it a little. What I have done so far is to disassemble the tailgate and strip the paint off it. While stripping the paint I found this under the blue paint. I believe the black is primer and it only had one layer of blue so I am thinking it may be the original tailgate. What can you guys tell me about the trailering special option and is there any way to tell for sure if this Jimmy has it without the RPO codes as the original glove box door has been replaced so no codes.
