what did you expect a new car?
A car any make or model is build to last until warrenty is endend, if it last further then its good for you.
any car make or model is a money pit, they all break something all where out no matter what you do, some are wores then others,
going to the mechanic is expensive, diagnostic can be very expensive, evey car is diffrent some times the problem you may have can be cause by something completley diffrent so you have to diagnos that problem first and fix that first before you can diagnos the actuel problem. A/C diagnostic is not easy work ask me how i have been to alot of diffrent Courses from volvo on A/C diagnostics (Im a Volvo Technician)
unhappy by with price, do it your self or use your dedicated legs to get around

Tonight mine pulled a few cars out of snowbanks, and is sitting in my driveway, icicles on the grille, wheels just white cakes of snow, buried up to the lug nuts in powder, straps and chains wrapped around the bumpers, the outline of the wipers clear in 4 inches of snow on the windshield... A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.
