There is a zink diecast pin that snaps into the cam from below and it aligns the cam/turn signal switch to the housing. The turn signal lever is fastened to the cam with a screw that threads into this pin. I assume that you have the lever off. With the lever off and the tin strips removed, you should be able to take a thin bladed screw driver and pry the cam away from the turn signal switch. The cam has a hex hole that fits over the diecast pin. I just dissassembled one and it came apart easily.
