I use the manifold gaskets too, and it is awsome. I have NEVER blown one out. (Knock on woodgrain)
I have only found a loose bolt once too...but I guess that is just plain uncommon. I even put antiseize compound on mine before I installed them. (no cutting either)
For the collectors, get the dead soft alluminum gaskets.
