i like my 700r4. it shifts like a champ & hop-up/rebuild parts are more common. I dont find the 1-2 shift bogs my motor because I'm running a 2.56 rear end so that low firstgear is all that saves me from being a slug. I'm using the painlesswireing lock-up kit & I've put a B&M shift kit, a highpressure valve, and a corvette 4th gear kickdown valve. The guys are right that a 200 is an easier install but not a huge amount. You can tow with the 700 but they say in third gear. I havnt towed yet but i'd tow on flat ground with a big cooler & a light trailer/load. PM me if ya wanna know more. Good luck
