I'd trust the Prestone rad flush and I also trust Dupont products.
After having the heater core plug up twice in the 2 years I've owned my 2000 GMC while having dexcool in it I said enought is enough. Both times I reverse flushed the core with a garden hose and plugs of mud shot out of it. Couldn't understand why it did this since it has a tight system and never lost coolant so no air present to cause it to mud up.
It's then when I flushed the system real good and put the green in it. No more red for me. Bugs me that I couldn't get that stain out of the coolant tank too.
