i had the kind that hanged from the top ,i kept snapping them even the best one napa sold they are only pinch welds so i had a buddy put extra welds on one and never had the problem again ....but for taking them off theres two bolts to take off and then i used a bench vise and a rubber mallet and the new ones i just tapped on with a mallet....had to do it a couple times
