Because right now, "it ain't broke" so I don't want to fix it. My wife gave me complete grace to buy this thing if I promised her I would lower it, put wheels on it, and enjoy it. If I start taking the engine apart now, I will get un-ending grief about it.
BUT...If it needs to be repaired *wink,wink* then she can't complain if I add a set of heads, cam, intake, and new carb while I do a tune up....
