I would NOT run the spacer with the fan/clutch, I tried the first time and it vibrated like crazy! Just put the assembly together without the spacer, there are two different fan clutch lengths available as well. (I found that out after I purchased mine) You want to half the blade exposed from what I know... Hope this helps!
