I think the vacuum option listed under most parts store catalogs for 1 tons is an error. Hydraboost was standard on 1 tons SRW or DRW. I have never seen one (stock) with out it. Now if you could have special ordered one with vacuum brakes, IDK. Might be a question for Keith. Besides 1 tons I think it may have just been the 6.2s like Your41Plague12 said, and heavy duty 3/4 tons. I had a 84 C20 RCLB 454/SM465 FF14B and hydraboost. Now that I think about it, its possible that not all 6.2s got hydraboost. I know some had a vacuum pump to operate the Turbo400 if equipped. I'm sure that pump could have provided vacuum for the booster as well, again not 100% on that.
