We are talking about two different things here.
CV=Constant Velocity joint, and a double cardan joint. They both transmit power at greater angles than u-joints, but they are different.
Blue_71 is right about cv joints on drive axles. Check this out

My K20 has a double cardan joint between the t-case and front driveshaft. It resembles 2 u-joints as an assembly, as shown here
