Yes you can swap the mounts without removing the cab. when I did mine, i worked 1 side at a time....the longhorn only has 4 mounts(steel tilt clip), but the same should work for your truck. Just loosen them all up a little, so you will have a little room to jack the cab up enough to slip the mounts out/in. good luck,crazyL
