Not trying to take away the thrill of a free part, but with all those problems, free may turn out pretty expensive!
If the guages aren't saveable, they're all available as reproductions. Try GMC Pauls.
If you just need to repaint the needles, we've got some experience doing that with a testors model paint and some tricky masking.
Also, the circuit board is commonly available, and I think about $90.
