the carrier bearing (center support bearing) mounts to the driveshaft that goes into the trans, the first piece of a 2 piece driveline. The second shaft goes from carrier bearing to the rear end. I can't imagine a swb 4x4 having a 2 piece driveline in the rear, and no way it would have a 2 piece driveline in the front.
