most 2wd (C 10) swb have a 2 piece driveline. It's not possible to mount the carrier bearing to the wrong shaft without some welding, it is possible to put the trans yoke on the rear shaft if you're not paying any attention to what you're doing.
I'm still unclear as to what the op is really talking about. Front and rear axle, carrier bearing on an axle, and driveshaft shop.
I just assume he is talking about a 2 piece driveshaft not being assembled properly on a swb c10, and we all know what ASSuME-ing does.

if they did put the trans yoke on the rear shaft it I'll have to be put on the front shaft and realaned as an assembly to be properly fixed.
