my 1974 has a wood bed floor and i have to against the grain here-no pun intended-but i dont like it and want to replace it with a steel bed floor.i heard somewhere that the front caps on our beds are different in a steel bed floor truck than in a wood bed floor truck.is that true and if so do you have to do any modifications to a wood bed floor trucks front to make it work with a steel bed floor and are the bed sides different as well or no?anyone with knowledge on this please let me know as im going to do this in the future.thanks in advance.
