Recent developments:
Good: Wax. It's a wonderful thing. Makes the rig look nice and shiny. Also tells me where are the dings, scratches, bubbles, dents, and other blemishes are. But at least it looks better for the neighbors. I'd send pix but. . . .
Bad: Oregon's mandatory, year-round 10% ethanol is clogging up my Quadrajet carb. We massaged the carb last November after a smelly hunting trip. Now the Qjet's passageways are clogged and not responding to the mechanic's efforts, let alone mine. So I'm going to match the Edelbrock headers with an E carb and electronic choke.
More bad: the money for the carb is coming from the money being set aside to bead blast the bed and do a Line-X.
