just get a gm pedal and tac assembly that match and use the dbw throttle body. No reason to convert to DBC just because your bimmer pedal won't work.

Because of how particular the dbw systems are, I would be surprised if the pedal was compatible. However BMW has sourced parts from the GM catalog before so I wouldn't rule 100% against it. I'd like to hook it up to a tac and tb and see how it reacts. Maybe there could be a breakthrough for the bmw swap guys.
