How long have u had this truck. Is it a big block or small block. Sounds stupid but i just bought my first big block in april it ran around 215. So i started thinking the same thing ur doing. I talked to couple people round my area and they told me bbc will run little hotter. But i agree now shroud and thermostat is not helping
