I have a friend of mine that can fix factory radios (he can fix them to just play AM, AM/FM, AM/FM with iPod connection). He installs a new board in the radio housing...uses knobs and push buttons for controls. I had him fix an original 1951 radio for a 51 truck i had (sold
it worked great...and i loved the original look. that is what i would like to do for this truck. maybe sometime later...for sure.
