Only 1 & 3 get fouled up with oil. I've done a compression test and the results were in spec according to Chilton. The left exhaust does smoke lightly when the engine is cold. I'll take a look at the valve stems the next time I have free time to pull the cover.

Is there a way to determine where the oil is entering the cylinders from?
