Re: Recommend a modern radio for a '71 uncut dash?

Thanks again to stich626 for referring me to this product. I finally got it installed, and it was a bit of a hassle. I was too lazy to disconnect the cables and wires on the climate control head, so i just lowered it and pushed it back as best as i could. it was a pain trying to squeeze the radio past it, but i finally made it happen. I was cussing too much to take photos, but here is the finished installation. It looks low-key, so i dont think anyone will be looking to climb in and rip it out of the dash, especially since it has old fashioned knobs, and we know that aint cool to younger kids.

The fit is great, and the looks blend in pretty well, not like some hack job with a face plate after cutting the dash. The sound is OK, but it is clearly not the Kenwood i am used to in my other car. As long as it is clear when playing loud with no top, I am happy.
