I have read that you cant cut the rears due to the design. The coils have a "pig tail" on each end that is used to bolt the coil in place. I think it is physically impossible to cut the coil and be able to reinstall it properly. I think the only thing you "could" do is heat the coil to lower it, but that is highly dangerous. The "cheap" way to do is to use Jeep Wrangler TJ coil springs. I would look in the suspension forum for info on this. Just my .02
