I por 15'd the entire floor and firewall. No rust, just precaution. I didn't care which direction I layed the material. After I put it down, I used aluminum tape to seal the seams. If there is ever a asphalt/tar smell, this is a good step to seal it in. The material behind the tank is trunk carpet glued on with 3m spray adhesive.
Yes I did install the in cab tank. Here's a pic of the tank after carpet installed, but before the seat.
