A drywall,vinyl siding,or carpentry contractor. You can haul a sheet of drywall,siding boxes,and even up to 16' lumber in a 12' bed. Some people use trucks for work

. Back when these trucks were current ('77 0r so) there was a guy around here who had one stretched to 12' and it was tandem. It had chrome spoke wheels and I thing it looked awesome.It was very well done with sharp paint and the wheel wells were done just right. I never talked to the guy. This was back when a Dooley pickup was a fairly new thing and the whole truckin' craze was really taking off.
I also have a friend who has a recycled lumber company. Another friend is his mechanic. He runs all GM trucks and Tommy custom built a 12 or more foot flatbed C/30 DRW with a tag axle.
