Ideally the 285/75s call for an 7"-8" wheel,which you won't find a stock wheel in. The late-SAE Ford 16" wheels,I believe are 7". But,I run 285/75s on my '92 with stock steel wheels and have for about 200,000 miles with no problems with tread wear.
