Just installed the Harris Performance Inc Towmaster chip in my '88 1 ton crew cab and took a 500 mile tow/road trip to pick up a milk cow (banjos playing in background).

These things really work! Throttle response and acceleration was much improved as well as a noticable difference in power wile pulling hills. Milage was the same as before at around 10 mpg. I haven't got to drive with it much unloaded since putting in the chip. I was getting 10 mpg loaded, unloaded towing etc. so I'm guessing this will be the same.

It also idles much smoother than before.

It's nice to have a 5 minute install make a noticable difference.
