There are a lot of nice 60-62's, but it's easier and cheaper to start with a 63-66 everything else being equal. Especially if you want to drop the suspension. The aftermarket offers a great deal more bolt in support for the later chassis.

Thanks boys. I took your advise and I ended up getting a 63 burban...Its a project but the body is nearly perfect.Perfect platform for a rat rod/ street truck.(pics are coming). It came with a 89 suburban engine and 350 trans. I just got it home and its night time so my excitement shall have to wait...The owner said it was running when he pulled it out and just installed it on the 63. Not Sure on what I need for wiring....any ideas or schematics and/or pics are greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless!!!!
