8" midrange is pretty rare. I'm assuming they are bass speakers though.

If you only use 2 then as suggested hook each to their channel or bridge the amp and run them in parallel which will get you 4 ohms. If you do 4 then run two to each channel in parallel again giving you 4ohm. Or run each to it's own channel for 8ohm.

As for inside or outside holes it won't matter assuming each hole has it's own chamber.

8" woofers generally don't get more than 100watts. I've run 3 8's at 150 watts total and it sounded great.
