just a note to give you another option.. if you wire two 4 ohm speakers in series, you turn it into one 8 ohm speaker as far as your amp knows.. you can wire two 8 ohm speakers in parallel to make it look like one 4 ohm speaker.. as a child i wired 16 speakers to my tube radio in a 57 chevy and was king of the parking lot... they were junk yard speakers and no one made amps for cars back then... if you use a combination of series and parallel and the total resistance per channel is within specs, you can use unique combinations... example.. two 8 inch 8 ohm in series sounds like 1 12 inch..

the down side is power, if you want passing planes to hear your bass,, spend the money... you can make great sound but think you can hit lighter speakers with a mega watt..
