does the GMC K1500 in your profile have the rockwell?
if so, thats a little weird...should have the 205.
i have been under the impression that 69 was the last year for the rockwell, and also teh first for the 205.
if you do indeed have the rockwell, it can be a bit tricky to shift outta 2wd. also, when filling with gear oil, park sideways on a hill with the drivers side being up higher, that way you can overfill the case a bit, good "oops" insurance
