DIVORCED is a transfer case that runs as an independent unit meaning not mated to your transmission, there is usually some sort of a driveshaft type piece linking the two. Married is what you are familiar with the two are combined. It is my experience that 1 anything can be accomplished if you want it done and 2 if you don't know how someone with the experience and expertise can be paid to do it for the right price or 3 you can do the reasearch and have the ambition to do it yourself this being the least expensive route.
