I think in the head is the best place for it. If you overheat, the head will get hot before the intake, which will give you more time to react before bad things happen. Besides, who cares how hot the intake is...I'm worried about teh actual engine...true, they should be the smae temp, but if everything was like it
should be...you wouldn't need the guage.
