That's assuming there's no engine in place.
Yes, you'll have to support the engine or just pull it and get it out of the way.
I did mine on a bare frame and glad I did as I had to suck the framerails in 3/4 of an inch.
If the engine were there,there'd have been some major cussin' LOL
