According to my catalog the years are divided like this: 73-78, 79-80, 81-91. I think that 73-78 didnt have the VIN on the dash. My 75 and 77 both have it inside the driver door on cab. 79 and up put the VIN up by the windshield. Difference between 80 and 81 must have something to do with the body change. Classic Ind. and LMC both sell dash pads. Im sure some other also.
