Cooler here, too. Just Thursday, it was 94. Today, it was only 78. Yep, cooler is better.
If you run antifreeze as you should, meaning that it is also a 50-50 blend year-round, you shouldn't have to worry about it being ready for winter. But, I very much remember worrying about whether or not my coolant was winter-ready. Must have had something to do with driving older cars and trucks. I mean, my '60 Impala was almost 14 years old! Now, the wifes' Lexus is almost 14 years old and it is a no-brainer to just keep the fluids topped off and hit the road whenever we want. Today's newer vehicles are much easier to rely on than what I grew up with, which were much better than what my parents grew up with.
