With these trucks, we must realize that parts will have to be changed. I try to work in different sections at a time in order of priority- fresh fluids/fuel/ignition/brakes/tranny/electrical, etc. Something will always sneak up but I think these trucks are more reliable and built better than the new trucks out there.
New trucks might ave more comforts and smoother running engines but these old trucks are workhorses that were built like a Truck, Not like a car.
Just fix in order of priority and its always great to have a back up vehicle no matter what truck/car u r driving.
