front caster on solid axle
I was wondering if anyone has opinions or experience on caster in our trucks with solid front axle. I am not asking about model A's, fords or gassers but rather 47-59 trucks. I have used 1.5 and 6 and now have a set of 2.5 shims to try. I think the 6 was a bit much but it did steer straight. So much so that it didn't really like to turn easily. It did change the bump steer character which I think was due to making a bit of an S in the spring. Thanks
