The X-pipe doesn't provide better flow...it does quiet down the exhaust (which is the primary goal with X-pipes on from the factory since the cross pulses help attenuate noise at lower RPMs) - if that's what you're looking to achieve. Being part of lots of exhaust research (flowbench, CFD modeling and real world) when I worked at Banks Engineering and the X-pipes' scavenging effects don't really occur until the upper RPMs, the range varied according to tubing diameter and distance from the collector.Just my $0.02 if it helps with routing your exhaust.
