IMO, cowl hood don't look good unless the truck is lowered, even then, they are still questionable. This comes from a guy who used to have a cowl hood...used to.  |
I only like cowl hoods where they're a must.... Big motor requiring fresh air? Heck yes. Stock sbc just for looks? I definitely prefer a stock (flat) hood.... especially if the plan is no paint on the cowl hood.
I know some guys really like the 'look'. If that's the case, it needs to be painted to match.
