If you can find a decent cab it can be replaced.
Decent is the key- when I did mine, decent wasn't in the budget, so got a good machine, repair parts, and went to town (time I did have, plus knowing how to weld and fit helped.)
As you dig further, you may find it is actually worse than what you initially see. Just be prepared.
