All wiring was checked and re-checked. Distributor was not kitted but cleaned and inspected scrupulously with new coil installed. Timing set at 10 btdc. BY the way after all this rigamarole I am really looking forward to cruising in my new 67 dually with two feet of vacuum hose as opposed to two hundred, MANUAL choke! Four speed STANDARD trans! No AC! No computer! No TPS, EGR, TCV, PCV, TCM, ESC, ETC!!! Incidentally the problem was due to none of the above!

But I hate em all anyway!
