I have a 1970 Chevrolet K10 with a bench seat, and the rod that that ties the two seat track adjusting mechanisms together has come unattached. It seems that the passenger side of the rod has a double 90 degree curve that fits into a hole on the adjustment mechanism but the driver side adjuster has a groove that the rod just sits on top of. Is there some sort of clip that holds the rod onto the seat adjuster groove? Also there are some metal links that are tied to the back of the lower seat frame that are not connected to anything. Do these connect to the center of the rod with a spring or some sort of linkage?
